Description

This electric go-kart comes in a bold green and has a 9.3 mph (15 km/h) maximum. The seat adjusts to drivers of different ages, and the kart is meant for a garden or other private ground.

Key features

  • Electric drive, top speed up to 9.3 mph (15 km/h)
  • Adjustable, ergonomic seat
  • Stable chassis fitted with a braking system
  • Sturdy frame on robust wheels
  • Intuitive controls for new and experienced drivers

The first drive

Choose a level, open area with nobody else nearby and set the seat before the driver gets in. Start slowly and practise stopping a few times, then move on to gentle bends. Slow down while the wheels still point straight, and only then turn.

Where to drive

An electric go-kart is a motor vehicle in law. Use it off-road, on private land only, with the landowner's permission, and under adult supervision. Wear a helmet and wrist, knee and elbow guards.

Ask us for the manufacturer's age and weight limits before you order.

Charger and plug

Charger model
[TO CONFIRM: charger model number]

Charge only with the charger made for this product's battery. A charger built for a different battery can start a fire; if yours is lost or damaged, ask us before you buy a new one.

Charging at home

  • Where: indoors, in a dry room at normal room temperature, on tiles, stone or concrete, with nothing that can burn close by.
  • Not in a hallway, on the stairs or by the front door: escape routes stay clear.
  • When: only when the pack is no longer warm from the ride, and only while you are in and awake. No overnight charging.
  • Done: unplug the charger. Never cover the battery or the charger.

Stop and contact us

Warning signs: the pack bulges, feels hot to the touch, leaks, smells of chemicals, fizzes, crackles or smokes. Stop, unplug, move away from it and contact us. A damaged battery is never ridden or charged again.

Fire: leave the building with everyone else and phone 999 from outside; putting it out is a job for the fire service.

Recycling

Household bins, including the recycling bin, are the wrong place for this product, its battery or its charger. Anything with a lithium-ion pack inside has to be handed in separately.

Recycling batteries and chargers

Sending a battery product back

Lithium-ion batteries are dangerous goods in transport. Talk to us before you return anything that has one, and we will book a carrier that accepts it. If a battery looks damaged, has swollen, leaks or has got too hot, do not post it: message us first and wait for our instructions.

Riding rules in Great Britain

Unless the description of this product says otherwise, ride it only on private land, with the landowner's permission: not on roads, pavements, cycle lanes or in parks.

Every ride: helmet on, guards on wrists, elbows and knees, and an adult watching whenever a child rides.
