Put this in your first message

  1. Your order number, from the order confirmation e-mail.
  2. The product, as named in your order confirmation; for a hoverboard or kart set, also the board size (6.5 or 8.5 inch) and the design.
  3. What happened and when: while charging, while riding, or after it had been stored.
  4. Photos, or a clip of a few seconds if the problem is a noise or a wobble.
  5. The checks you have already done.

For a fault, try the help centre first. Each guide covers one symptom, and what you find there helps us trace the cause sooner.

Battery hot, swollen or smoking?

Unplug the charger and step back. Keep people away, and do not pick up a battery that is giving off smoke. Smoke or flames: get everyone out, close the door, ring 999. Tell us afterwards what happened. A damaged battery never goes in the post.

Orders, cancelling and returns

  • Changed your mind? Here is how to cancel an order within the 14-day cancellation period.
  • Delivery area, battery transport and your rights if something is wrong: delivery and returns.
  • Every board and kart set carries a lithium-ion pack, and our other electric rides carry a battery too. Ask us before returning any of them, so that we can book a courier that accepts the battery.

Complaints

To make a complaint, start your message with the word "complaint" and include your order number. We confirm receipt within [TO CONFIRM: acknowledgement period] and answer in full within [TO CONFIRM: full-answer period].

[TO CONFIRM: ADR – delete if we join a scheme] No ADR (alternative dispute resolution) body handles our disputes at present. Court remains open to you: simple procedure in Scotland, or the small claims track for England and Wales.
