Questions riders ask
How quick is it to strap on?
A few minutes, according to the supplier. Once the board is in place and strapped down, rock it from side to side: any movement means the straps need tightening.
Does the seat need charging?
No. Power and drive both come from the hoverboard underneath; the seat itself has nothing to plug in.
What does the suspension version add?
Both seats have the same frame, straps and pair of steering levers. The suspension version is sprung, so bumps on grass and unmade tracks reach you softer and the wheels hold on better; on smooth, level ground the standard version is enough.
Is the frame for children or adults?
Both: it adjusts from a child's size to an adult's. The supplier has not yet confirmed a minimum age or a top weight for riding with it, so ask us if you are unsure.
Can the seat be returned by post?
Yes: it has no battery, so ordinary post is fine. Should you cancel (14 days, beginning the day after it reaches you), the direct cost of sending it back is yours.

Fitting and use
No motor, no battery: the seat straps to either of our boards (6.5-inch or 8.5-inch), which supplies all the drive. Before each ride: straps pulled tight, fingers away from the wheels, private land only.
Riding rules in Great Britain
With the Hoverkart seat fitted, the law still sees a powered transporter. Private land only, if the owner agrees: never on a public road or pavement, never in cycle lanes, car parks, playgrounds or parks, and nowhere open to the public.
Kit for each rider, each time: a helmet first, then guards on both wrists, elbows and knees. Children only ride while an adult supervises them the whole time.

Different make of board? Ask us before buying; we check whether the seat suits it.
